I decided to start a new blog.

No reason really, sometimes you just feel like doing new things.

So at the moment, I’m sick and hating it. I went shopping with Jess today to find a new dress for her 21st on the weekend. She kept on picking out white ones, when she is clearly a pale skinned lass! So we went into this one shop, and I found a gorgeous green dress and gave it to her — I don’t care if you hate it, I just want you to try it and see what you think! — so she did, along with the corally-red version of the same dress, and bought the coral one! thank god!

We walked around for a while, then I had to go for an appointment. Not seeing Reece tonight, I think it’s best we stay away for a bit so he doesn’t get my sickness he just got over.

Went to Apollo Bay on the weekend to see Reece’s band Mr Magoo play at the pub. Was ok, felt a bit stupid just sitting there, Kat & I weren’t drinking and didn’t really know anyone else and the boys were playing so we couldn’t party with them. Anyway, nearing the end, I saw Ted from The Vasco Era walk in. AHHHH! Was so excited, went and had a chat with him after they finished playing, such an awesome kid! He remembered me, mainly because I added him on Facebook. haha.

We went back to the hotel leaving the boys there to pack up a bit, then they came back and we went to get sausages from upstairs. Everyone started talking about their anniversary dates, it made me really shitty because the lead singer (he has a severe case of short-man’s disease) and his gf got engaged a month or so ago, and they’ve only known each other/been together for 9 months. That really pisses me off, because we’ve been together 6 years and I know that nothing is going to happen soon. The other thing that pissed me off was the band is playing at Apollo Bay again on the 7th of Feb. That night I’d missed one of my mate’s 21st because of the gig, and the 7th is another mate’s 21st that I’m not about to miss. So a bit annoyed that Reece just goes along with it without thinking. So I’m in for another lonely party, but I guess I can go nuts with the girls from high school, will be a good get together.

I’ve decided I want to be a photographer, so after finally finishing uni in June this year, I’m going to start an online photography course that goes for 6 months. My savings plan at the moment allows for me to get to Thailand after I finish uni for a week or two, then buy a decent DSLR, then start the course. It’s going to be an amazing year, I can’t wait.
